Features and benefits

Increased floor space production efficiency

The machine width is reduced to 2,200 mm with the ability to handle workpieces with a center-to-center distance of 630 mm and a swing of 350 mm, and it has an integrated structure with auxiliary equipment. In addition to effective use of installation space, the machine can be easily upgraded to improve production efficiency in combination with its machining capacity. The grinding wheel motor is equipped with a high-output AC motor and inverter to provide high-speed grinding and energy savings.

High rigidity of the entire machine

φ450mm CBN grinding wheel dedicated high-rigidity spindle + fluid hybrid bearing; main spindle and tailstock dovetail width is 250mm, center is MT-No.5; wheelhead traverse is V-flat sliding surface. These highly rigid elements are configured into a three-point support high-rigidity bed to increase machining capacity and surface roughness.

Improved setup and reduced non-machining time

The main spindle NC quill 75mm + the tailstock NC quill 200mm corresponds to a workpiece length change of 275mm, and NC drive enables smooth workpiece changeover and setup. Various jigs and units are available to handle a wide variety of workpieces.

Cold start processing

The auto balancer built into the grinding wheel spindle quickly and accurately corrects the balance using a unique balancing algorithm. In addition, a specially developed V-type constant dimension gauge and optical linear scale, coupled with a highly rigid machine, lead to stable production from a cold start.
