Process consolidation enables the reduction of lathe processes. It also greatly reduces the time and effort required for process design and tooling design.

Operation screen from the operator's point of view

Failure diagnosis, machining accuracy compensation, cutting tool life management, etc. can be easily checked on the operation panel screen. The inspection item screen displays the previous and next inspection dates to support reliable periodic maintenance.

Significant reduction in processing time

Simultaneous cutting by two cutters (left and right) reduces cycle time. Approximately 5 times faster indexing than conventional lathes. Significantly reduces non-cutting time.

Simplifies cutter replacement

Cutters can be easily replaced with the attached hoist. After the cutter is replaced, the touch sensor automatically measures and compensates the cutting edge position quickly. Reproducibility of machining accuracy is guaranteed.

High-precision machining by high-rigidity clamping

Three-jaw chuck with spherical bearings. Compensating mechanism prevents movement of workpiece axis center. After machining the black skin areas on both ends, the outer diameters of both ends are clamped and the left and right chucks rotate synchronously. Since there is no strong pressing like on a lathe, workpiece bending is prevented, contributing to improved runout accuracy.

Environmental considerations

No cutting coolant is used at all, which prevents environmental pollution and contributes to cost reduction.
