Komatsu adds lab projects in 3 schools

In a strategic effort to bridge the digital divide and enhance educational outcomes, Komatsu successfully implemented ICT lab projects across three schools in Limpopo province: Phakama Primary, Mmantutule Secondary, and Alfred B. Makapan Secondary. The initiative aimed to empower learners and educators through access to modern technology and improved learning environments.

The primary objectives of this project were to:

  • Equip schools with modern ICT resources to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Provide learners with access to laptops, interactive boards and reliable internet connectivity to support digital literacy.
  • Upgrade school infrastructure (ICT laboratories) to create safe, functional environments that are conducive to technology-based learning.
  • Strengthen the schools’ capacity to integrate ICT into the curriculum and prepare learners for a digitally driven future.
