Komatsu employs more than 1,600 people across Southern Africa and offers much more than just employment. We’re talking about a long-term career providing rewarding opportunities for training and personal development. We believe that people can grow in a supportive team environment that fosters and encourages creative thinking.
We are looking for individuals who are committed to quality, recognise and focus on their “customers”, commit to “digging” deep into discovering why problems are occurring, realise the benefit of understanding what is actually going on in the workplace to solve problems and/or make improvements, understand the importance of clear communication of goals and objectives, value their business partners, and recognise that employees are the most important asset to our company.
Ambition is encouraged here. Employees are empowered to identify growth opportunities and guide their own career paths. If you aspire to always learn more and do more, you’ve come to the right place.
Komatsu’s apprenticeship program caters for the mining and construction sectors. The apprentice program runs over 4 years and 6 months, and apprentices can qualify in the following trades: Millwright, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Electrical and Auto Electrical.
