Scoops are true utility players in your mine, handling multiple tasks, such as maintenance, re-supply, clean-up and rock dusting. To help you get the job done with excellent operator comfort, lower maintenance and longer time between charges, consider the redesigned Joy 02ESV scoops — now with OptiDrive technology.
Note: *over previous models
Adapted from other Joy machines, the OptiDrive system provides an enhanced operator experience, improves motor performance and can reduce maintenance and downtime for the 240-volt scoop.
Designed to minimize downtime. New electronics eliminate switches, and the color display provides real-time operational and fault information. Additional drive input modules allow the OptiDrive control system to easily interface with third-party proximity detection systems.
High torque and traction control help your operator get maximum performance out of the scoop, and provide impressive stability and capacity control on steep grades. To handle the additional power and reduce downtime in the most demanding applications, the scoop is equipped with robust Dana drive axles configured specifically for the scoop.
For durability and longevity, the center section is redesigned and includes heavy-duty pivot bearings and pins. The frame is rigorously engineered for reliability and the ability to transport heavy payloads.
240-volt battery power contributes to improved working conditions, thanks to less heat and noise compared to diesel power. A new color display provides real-time performance and fault data, including text messages that simplify troubleshooting.
Models are available to perform in seams as low as 914 cm (36 in), with a variety of options to suit your needs. Ground clearance options are available for various bottom conditions and canopy options available for optimum operator comfort and visibility.
