Productive final logging harvester with excellent climbing characteristics

Our largest eight-wheeled harvester is a stable and powerful machine, developed especially for harvesting in steep and challenging terrain. Hub reductions, the compact design and a large work area are just a few of the advantages.

  • The 951XC produces high tractive force for its size, enabling it to maintain a high speed even in difficult conditions
  • 270H crane with 8.7 / 10.3 m reach
  • Choose from our range of options to customise your machine and make your working day even more comfortable and productive

Features and benefits

Optimised for final felling

Optimised for final felling

Our final logging harvesters deliver high productivity shift after shift while staying agile for their size. A powerful engine, high tractive force, portal bogie and our strongest crane ensure confident manoeuvring and efficient work in tough terrain.

Working hydraulics you can depend on

Working hydraulics you can depend on

3PS is our innovative hydraulic system that delivers maximum power for simultaneous operations. You can slew, feed and manoeuvre at once, while lower‑power tasks use only part of the system, reducing energy loss and cutting fuel consumption.

Low ground pressure and high stability

Low ground pressure and high stability

XC harvesters, with their 8-wheel design, excel in hilly terrain and soft ground. Lower ground pressure protects sensitive surfaces, while a double oscillating bogie ensures stability and manoeuvrability on uneven terrain.

A great place to work

Give your cab a finishing touch

The harvester cab has an ergonomic design with many added conveniences to help ensure job satisfaction. It can also be complemented with a wide range of extra equipment, should you want to tailor your workplace to suit your personal preferences. Options include sequence control for both EME and mini joysticks, interior floor lighting and food box heater. By the way, did you know that the storage space in the panel behind the driver's seat can be used to cool bottles of drink? Ideal for keeping cool on hot days.

Komatsu

Crane operation at its easiest

For a harvester operator, an easily operated crane is important for ensuring a productive working day. With Komatsu Smart Crane, the crane – from the main boom all the way to the tip of the telescopic arm – is controlled with a single, smooth lever movement. The high precision and responsiveness of the crane contributes to a more relaxed way of working, meaning you as an operator can keep up a high and steady production while still feeling more refreshed at the end of the working day.

MaxiFleet

Choose between two hood guards

To protect the engine hood from external impacts, we offer an optional hood guard that comes in two versions: standard and reinforced. The reinforced hood guard attaches to the frame and is made of larger gauge piping than the standard version. When adding a hood guard, the harvester can also be equipped with additional fire safety in the shape of two 9 kg fire extinguishers as well as a rake, a spade and a digging bar.
