November 6, 2025 -- British-Thai driver Alex Albon brought the atmosphere of the São Paulo Formula 1 Grand Prix to Komatsu employees in Suzano (SP), during a special visit to the factory this week. The Atlassian Williams Racing driver visited the company's new facilities, which were inaugurated with the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, and took a tour of the plant alongside Jeferson Biaggi, president of the manufacturing unit of Komatsu Brazil.

After the guided tour, Albon (PHOTO) was greeted by about a thousand employees in a special activity led by comedian Marco Zenni, in a talk show format, which included trivia, audience questions, and moments of relaxation. The meeting reinforced the atmosphere of celebration and partnership between Komatsu and Williams.

Next, the pilot recorded a series of videos for Komatsu's social media channels and autographed the PC500LC-10M0, a hydraulic excavator that has just been produced in Brazil. The first unit of the car, painted in blue, in Williams' colors, was marked with Albon's signature and symbolizes the union between performance, technology and innovation of the two brands.

"Having Alex Albon come to our factory is a source of pride for all of us. This partnership shows that the pursuit of high performance and innovation is in the DNA of both Komatsu and Atlassian Williams Racing. And being able to celebrate this together with our employees makes the moment even more special", Biaggi points out.
