Load flex - premium load performance
The Load Flex option optimises both flexibility and load capacity. The cleverly designed bunks allow you to easily adjust the width of the load space for each job. Narrow, medium or wide - the articulated bunks are quickly adjusted using the forwarder's crane.
The wide load space provides a low centre of gravity for increased stability and smoother off-road driving. The option also includes hydraulically adjustable stakes, for more efficient crane operation and lower fuel consumption.
Komatsu comfort ride - Comfort that lasts the whole workday
A forwarder operator spends many hours a day in the cab, making a pleasant and comfortable work environment extremely important. Komatsu Comfort Ride efficiently dampens jolts and vibrations, ensuring an ergonomic work environment.
Komatsu Comfort Ride includes comfort-enhancing features like adjustable sideways firmness and automatic side levelling at standstill and at low speed. Automatic gears for efficient forwarding
Speed Shift is a clever gearbox solution that uses two hydrostatic motors, allowing the forwarder to change gear automatically as speed increases. This enables smooth acceleration across the full speed range without any input from the operator. It helps the engine run efficiently, saving fuel and creating a quieter, more comfortable working environment. Speed Shift also allows for higher travel speeds when ground conditions permit—such as on flat access roads in otherwise hilly areas. The longer the forwarding distance, the greater the benefit.
