Komatsu's WX04B is a groundbreaking battery-electric load haul dump (LHD) designed for narrow vein underground hard rock mining. As the only 4-tonne machine with a ground-level battery swap, zero underground diesel emissions and an onboard battery management system (BTMS), the WX04B sets a new standard for efficiency, productivity and sustainability in underground mining operations.
