Hard rock continuous miners

Being able to mine underground hard rock in new and more sustainable ways is now easier with the MC51. This new machine makes it easier to open up new ore bodies for commercial use that otherwise may not have been feasible using traditional drill and blast mining methods. The continuous mining versus batch method is simplified through automation and more control of the process.

MC51

The MC51 is an agile and compact hard rock continuous cutter. At only 12.5 m (41 ft.) long, this workhorse can turn on its center axis within approximately 6 m for easy and fast deployment. It also uses Komatsu DynaCut technology that cuts using a dynamic undercutting method for consistent rock size and efficient material handling.
