The new Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) in Johannesburg, officially opened in 2018, focuses on the creation of a safe, pleasant and modern working environment for employees and the delivery of enhanced operational efficiencies impacting positively on the service levels and support provided to our customers through improved logistics, workflow and communication.
Our 21,000m2 Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) houses more than 40,000 line items and incorporates best practices in Japanese, European and Australian warehouse design.
The new state of the art PDC has significantly enhanced customer service levels and support through improved logistics, workflow and communication. Equipped with semi-automated turret trucks to enable safe, accurate access to the highest racking areas, stock processing is undertaken using our Komatsu Warehouse Management System and SAP interface.
