Komatsu School is a center of excellence for training forestry machinery operators and mechanics, located in Pinhais, Paraná. Our facilities provide an ideal environment for both theoretical and practical learning, ensuring that participants acquire the skills necessary to operate and maintain forestry machinery with maximum efficiency and safety.

Course load: 40 hours a week

Description: Presentation of tracked harvester operational techniques using the ORYX simulator, allowing students to perform tree felling and processing exercises.

Program content:

  • Technical presentation of the simulator 
  • Crane movement exercises (rotation, arm, boom and tool)
  • Felling techniques 
  • Processing techniques 
  • Operational planning for harvester

Description: Presentation of forwarder operational techniques using the ORYX simulator, allowing students to perform exercises in loading and unloading wood.

Description: Technical overview of the PC210 machine and its components to understand the adjustments and diagnostics required for optimal performance.

Program content:

  • Diesel engine (operating system)
  • Hydraulic system (schematic, settings, and pressures)
  • Drivetrain (operation)
  • Turntable and crane
  • Hydraulic system (adjust pressure settings)
  • Electrical system
