Komatsu D61EX-23M0: Performance, comfort, and efficiency in leveling

At the heart of the machine is the Komatsu SAA6D107E-1 engine, with 168 HP (125 kW) at 2,200 rpm, which guarantees power tailored for demanding applications. The assembly is mounted on rubber supports that minimize noise and vibration, promoting operational comfort, an essential factor for productivity during long workdays. 

Another engineering highlight is the hydraulically driven cooling fan, which adjusts its speed according to the temperature of the fluids. The result is a quieter operation with lower fuel consumption, offering significant gains in both performance and sustainability. 

The D61EX-23M0's running gear also deserves attention: Its long tracks and low center of gravity provide excellent stability and precision in leveling. Meanwhile, the highly durable oil seals, inherited from larger models, extend the lifespan of the components and reduce the need for recurring maintenance. 

The machine also incorporates hydrostatic transmission (HST), with two operating modes: Power (P), for maximum power delivery, and Economy (E), which allows for a reduction of up to 10% in fuel consumption compared to the previous model. The counter-rotating function of the tracks ensures agile maneuvers even in confined spaces, an important operational advantage in narrower work areas. 

Finally, the modular design and reinforced cast steel structure make the D61EX-23M0 an easy-to-maintain and even more durable machine. A chassis with fewer welds results in greater strength and a longer lifespan, reducing downtime for repairs.
