The Risk Management Report - Pillar III of Banco Komatsu do Brasil S.A. complies with Brazilian transparency guidelines and Circular 3.930/2019 and BCB Resolution No. 54/2020, which address the disclosure of information on risk management, Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA), and Benchmark Equity (PR).
The Credit Information System (“SCR”) is a database administered by the Central Bank of Brazil (“BCB”) that stores and facilitates the exchange of information regarding credit transactions and collateral arrangements entered into by customers, in accordance with applicable regulations.
The SCR is designed to provide information to the BCB for monitoring credit within the financial system, as well as for its supervisory activities; and to facilitate the exchange of information among financial institutions regarding their customers’ credit transactions.
Inquiries regarding the information contained in the SCR may be made by the BCB itself; by customers, directly with the BCB or through Registrato (Extract from the BCB Information Registry, in accordance with the guidelines available on www.bacen.gov.br); and by institutions participating in the SCR that have been authorized by customers to do so.
The information submitted to the SCR is the sole responsibility of the submitting financial institutions, including with respect to additions, corrections, deletions, the registration of legal actions, and the recording of objections related to any information submitted to the SCR. If any of these measures are necessary, please contact the Customer Service Department (SAC) of Banco Komatsu do Brasil S.A.
Access to any information in the SCR requires prior authorization from the customers, which extends to institutions that may access the SCR and acquire or receive as collateral, or express interest in acquiring, in whole or in part, credit operations for which the customers are responsible. Regardless of the information contained in the SCR, the decision to grant new credit transactions is the sole discretion of the institution, in accordance with its credit policy.
The statements of information contained in the SCR are prepared in accordance with accounting criteria and a specific methodology established by the BCB, and may differ from those presented by other systems that have a different nature and purpose. Information regarding customer transactions is submitted to the BCB based on the balance as of the last day of the reference month; consequently, there is a time lag between the submission of data, its processing by the BCB, and its availability in the SCR.
The responsibility for implementing compliance with legal actions lies with the institutions submitting the information.
Additional clarifications may be obtained from the BCB at any of its branches, through the Public Service Center, or on its website.
