Benchtop forestry simulator
The Komatsu Forest 60 is an advanced simulator that incorporates the latest technology from Komatsu Forest. Portable and highly flexible, it was developed to provide an immersive experience, combining ease of use with portability.
The newest addition to the Komatsu Forest simulator family—the Komatsu Forest 60—offers the user a robust simulator system featuring the latest Komatsu Forest technology, all in a portable, easy-to-use format. The Komatsu Forest 60 allows you to have a full-fledged harvester and forwarder right on your desk.
The simulator is delivered without a main operator screen as standard. For permanent installations, a larger screen is recommended to provide greater immersion. If you have to travel with the system and need to bring your own screen, a suitable one can be provided.
Adding the MaxiXT option will transform your simulator from an operator training tool into something far more powerful. The ability to provide in-depth knowledge of the machine and teach operators how to use its actual features, such as real price lists.
The opportunity to understand the entire process—from opening a production area to the completion of the job and the delivery of final production reports from the machine—gives the operator a deeper understanding of working with a real machine.
Furthermore, the authentic MaxiXT system will allow the operator to adjust speeds, mappings, and function sequences using the same interfaces they would use on the actual machine. The MaxiXT kit integrates the StanForD2010 support into the simulator, allowing for the reading of spi, oin, and pin files, as well as the generation of hpr files, just like on the actual machine.
Performance report
The Operator Performance System (OPS) is an advanced database and reporting tool that manages simulator users and tracks simulator usage. The system collects information during each session and generates an extensive report on security, performance and key economic indicators.
An optional teacher station is available, where the instructor has a more dynamic view and can zoom in and out, as well as observe the machines from various angles. The instructor can configure learning paths to ensure the student is meeting their educational goals. The instructor can also pause the simulation, record videos, and create timestamped comments.
Komatsu Forest simulators are part of the forestry operator training program offered at our facility in Pinhais, Paraná.
