This simulator is equipped with wheeled harvester and forwarder software, three 55-inch industrial screens, the genuine Komatsu Forest operator seat, and a pair of genuine joysticks of your choice. The standard configuration includes an emulated MaxiXplorer screen for added training value.

An extra pair of joysticks, virtual reality, tracked harvester software, and the MaxiXT steering system are available as options for greater authenticity.

MaxiXT

The MaxiXT package completes the simulator, offering the true MaxiXT system integrated into the simulation. It expands the training and the range of activities that can be performed in the simulator. This package replaces the emulated MaxiXplorer.

Forwarder software

The forwarder software includes a high-fidelity simulation of the Komatsu Forest 855 forwarder with the 130F and 165F cranes. Load a saved session from the harvester software, and load the felled timber using the Save and Load feature. Below are the included standard scenarios. However, an unlimited number of new exercises can be created with the Forest Editor.

Harvester software

The harvester software includes a high-fidelity simulation of the Komatsu Forest 931 harvester with S92 (multi-tree handling) and C93 heads. The emulated MaxiXplorer includes the plotting table functionality and the automatic cutting feature. Save your work in progress and continue the next day using the Save and Load feature. Below are the included standard scenarios. However, an unlimited number of new exercises can be created with the Forest Editor.

Tracked harvester software

The tracked harvester (PC200) application includes operator training on the tracked harvester using Suregrip or EME joysticks. In addition to the standard harvester training package, the tracked harvester includes a roadside processing scenario.

Performance report

Operator performance system

The Operator Performance System (OPS) is an advanced database and reporting tool that manages simulator users and tracks simulator usage. The system collects information during each session and generates an extensive report on security, performance and key economic indicators.

An optional teacher station is available, where the instructor has a more dynamic view and can zoom in and out, as well as observe the machines from various angles. The instructor can configure learning paths to ensure the student is meeting their educational goals. The instructor can also pause the simulation, record videos, and create timestamped comments.
