Mining SmartCare is Komatsu’s next-generation approach to machine health management - designed to help mining customers unlock greater value from their equipment. By combining real-time data, Komatsu analytics, and digital tools, we deliver early issue detection, improved machine productivity, and smarter decision-making on site.

We work alongside your existing maintenance and operations teams - never in place of them - to provide a complementary layer of support that keeps machines running stronger, longer.

We aim to reduce complexity and cost by minimising the number of data logging devices while ensuring complete fleet visibility. Where traditional site networks or cellular coverage are limited, we can also deploy ruggedised Starlink units to establish reliable machine or fleet communications—extending the reach of SmartCare to even the most remote operations.
