Underground product training

Established in 2013, our Komatsu Underground Product Training team offers comprehensive training aimed at safety, production, preventative maintenance, diagnostics and fault-finding. We have a dedicated team of trainer and assessors with extensive equipment experience and qualifications, who are adept in developing training courses to suit our customers needs and requirements.

We offer Operator and Technical training that covers a variety of underground mining equipment including Development, Bolting, Haulage and Longwall, as well as Automation and Integration. Our training courses are designed to lower mean time to repair (MTTR) and increase mean time to failure (MTTF) relating to Komatsu underground equipment.

We use state-of-the-art product training simulators to provide true component diagnostics and fault-finding training. Our simulators are designed to give learners the opportunity to interact with equipment controls in a safe, realistic environment without impacting production.

We can facilitate training on site or at one of our facilities located across NSW and QLD.

Our team of technical trainers are seasoned professionals with extensive industry experience and knowledge of all Komatsu underground equipment. Each of our trainers brings a unique set of skills and perspectives, ensuring that our training courses are both comprehensive and engaging.

Our trainers hold relevant certificates in training and assessing and continuously update their skills to remain at the forefront of industry trends. Their passion for innovation has driven the development of state-of-the-art simulators used to support learners gain hands-on experience in a safe and controlled environment without impacting production.

We offer professional and customised training where it's needed - on-site or at one of our facilities located across NSW and QLD.

Our dedicated training facility located in the Hunter Valley boasts two spacious classrooms and an auditorium for larger groups. This facility also features a purpose-built longwall simulator designed to give learners access to the latest equipment features and software developments.
