Track shoe is fixed on the track link by 4 bolts and 4 nuts in general. Track shoes ave various width and types for different applications and purposes. Track shoe consists of plate part where machine weight is supported and grouser which transfers the traction to the ground. During operation, the shoe receives a complex stress and bend, shock and friction from the ground. Therefore track shoe is designed to be hardened through as not to bend, crack or wear quickly.
