Delivery and handover of your new machine

Delivery

Depending on your delivery preferences, you may have opted to pick up your machine or it have it delivered to your nominated location.

If you are picking up your machine or organising your own transport, you will need to ensure you have an appropriate carrier and the driver will also be required to complete a declaration confirming they comply with Chain of Responsibility requirements.

If Komatsu has arranged transportation to your nominated location, please ensure you will be available at the scheduled time to accept delivery of your machine.

Handover

Attendance

Your Account Manager will meet you at the agreed location, date and time to conduct the handover of your machine.

An Operator Trainer and Customer Support Representative will also be in attendance if you have specified this in your delivery preferences.  If not, your Customer Support Representative will be in contact to arrange a site visit within the following month.

If handover is to occur at a location other than a Komatsu branch, please advise your Account Manager of any requirements that must be met in order to gain access to the site.

Process

The handover process is designed to familiarise you with your new machine and your Komatsu support network including Parts, Service, Warranty and Komtrax remote monitoring.

If you have any specific requirements or requests for information, please let your Account Manager know so that they can tailor your handover to your needs.

Paperwork

We will provide you with some forms for you to sign and return on the day.

Handover Checklist

This document confirms that your Account Manager has covered off on all aspects of the handover process.

It also contains a section for listing any potential areas that require attention or clarification for you Account Manager to follow-up.

Komtrax Customer Agreement Form

Komtrax remote monitoring is a complimentary service that allows you to monitor the health and performance of your machine. This form authorises us to set up your Komtrax user account and other preferences (where available).

Acknowledgement of Receipt and Acceptance

This form is to acknowledge that you have received your machine and attachments and accept terms and conditions relating to both Komtrax remote monitoring and applicable warranties. Links to these terms and conditions are provided below for your review.
