Our areas of focus
Remaining true to our founding spirit, we seek to play an active role in supporting the communities where we live and work. Komatsu employees regularly give back through volunteerism, community partnerships and educational support.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts fall into three areas of focus:
- Enhancing quality of life: Providing products, technologies and services that equip society to grow and enhance global environmental conservation.
- Developing people: Supplying educational, workforce development opportunities within our business as well as in our communities.
- Growing with society: Supporting organisations that deliver essential human services by working to decrease poverty, hunger and homelessness.
We work to be a valued community partner across the globe, supporting sustainable efforts that reach far beyond Komatsu. We do so by investing financial and employee volunteer resources in non-profits and non-government organisation, partnering with our communities and prioritizing programs that address immediate needs while building a foundation for the future.
