Komatsu has partnered with Coronado Global Resources to support the development of the Mammoth Underground Mine at Curragh in central Queensland. This marks Coronado's first underground mining project in Australia. Komatsu will supply a fleet of advanced bord-and-pillar mining equipment, including continuous miners, shuttle cars, feeder breakers, and multi-bolters. The collaboration aims to meet production targets and create over 200 new jobs. Komatsu will provide ongoing support to ensure optimal operation and reliability of the equipment.
