As part of a global organisation with over a century of experience, Komatsu Pakistan Mining has been established to support the country’s mining and infrastructure sectors through solutions that combine equipment, technology, and long-term operational support.

Our origins in Pakistan
Komatsu Pakistan Mining Ltd. was established to support the Reko Diq copper-gold project, one of the world’s most significant greenfield mining developments and a cornerstone of Pakistan’s emerging mining sector.
The company was formed following a $440 million agreement between Komatsu and Barrick Mining Corporation for the supply and lifecycle support of ultra-class mining equipment beginning in 2026.
To deliver at this scale, Komatsu established a dedicated local entity, embedding technical expertise, service capability, and on-ground support to ensure reliable and sustained operations at Reko Diq.
