With increased power and payload capacity, the Komatsu HD605-10 rigid dump truck is designed to offer maximised productivity with low operation costs. Komatsu’s advanced transmission and braking systems – the same as on our larger mining trucks – ensure optimum traction and safe operation in all conditions. As with all our trucks, key components are designed and manufactured by Komatsu to work together in an integrated package. And it comes standard with our Komtrax remote monitoring and location system, backed by our New Zealand-wide service and support network.

    Features and benefits

    Auto Retard Speed Control (ARSC)

    Auto Retard Speed Control (ARSC)

Auto Retard Speed Control (ARSC) allows to easily set a constant downhill travel speed and lets the operator concentrate on steering. Speed can be adjusted appropriately to the slope grade at an increment of 1 km/h by clicking the control lever (± 5 km/h max.). HD605-10 has a new function of setting different speed by truck load status.

    Small turning radius

    Small turning radius

The MacPherson strut type front suspension has a special A-frame between each wheel and the main frame. The wider space created between the front wheels and the main frame increases the turning angle of the wheels. The larger this turning angle, the smaller the turning radius of the truck.

    First-class comfort

    First-class comfort

The wide Komatsu SpaceCab™ with user-friendly controls provides a comfortable and safe work environment. A fully adjustable airsuspended seat dampens vibrations and reduces the fatigue of long shifts. Large front and electric side windows give a superior visibility and increased confidence. Hydro-pneumatic suspension | Low-noise design | Heated & ventilated air-suspended seat | 4-point seat belt (Optional)

    Tier 4 engine KDPF regeneration

As the technology of diesel engines has progressed from Tier 3 to Tier 4 Final, design aspects of the engines have been fine-tuned to comply with regulations to cover regulated diesel engine exhaust pollutants.

The result is that these new diesel engines are cleaner than ever before, and in many cases more fuel efficient too. Along with this comes the need to properly manage and maintain these new generation of machines to make sure that operating costs are minimised.
