The 930E haul truck has established itself as a market leader in the “ultra” class above 290 tonnes. The new 930E-5 model builds on this solid reputation through product enhancements and is packed with class-leading features. The truck is capable hauling up to 304 tonnes depending on installed options and body weights and is powered by a 2,014 kW/2,700 Hp engine. The latest engine platform and drive system management technology provides economical and emission advantages over it’s predecessors. The new generation operator cabin features high levels of operational comfort and safety. And it comes standard with our Komtrax PLUS 2 remote monitoring and location system, backed by our New Zealand-wide service and support network

    Features and benefits

    Improved productivity and safety

    Improved productivity and safety

The 930E-5 incorporates a number of safety and productivity enhancements. The truck is rated at a higher GVM to permit the haulage of an increased payload capacity and is fitted with safety features such as Komatsu’s latest vehicle vision system to improve operator visibility. The truck features the latest in engine and drive system technology that reduces parasitic loads and results in a more responsive drive. These improvements preserve the units’ reputation as one of the lowest cost/tonne trucks on the market.

Reduced maintenance intensty and improved reliability

Reduced maintenance intensty and improved reliability

The 930E has a reputation for reliability, durability and ease of maintenance. The latest model includes engineering developments that reduce repair time, increase intervals between PM servicing and increase mean time between planned component replacement intervals.

    Environmental footprint reduction

    Environmental footprint reduction

The latest developments in engine and drive system platforms include features that result in a reduced fuel consumption, reduction in particulate matter emissions and noise emissions. The engine can be configured with optional aftertreatments to meet stringent Tier 4 emission compliances. Electronically controlled fuel injection and improved vehicle filtration systems reduce fluid consumption rates and waste management costs.
