Our intelligent Machine Control (iMC) D61EXi/PXi-23 bulldozer – available in both standard and low-ground-pressure configurations – incorporates a unique fully integrated blade control system, allowing it to carry out both bulk and final trim dozing in automatic from start to finish with final grade performance. This significantly increases productivity and efficiency while reducing the cost of each metre of material moved. And it comes standard with our Komtrax remote monitoring and location system, backed by our New Zealand-wide service and support network.

    Features and benefits

    Highly efficient hydrostatic drive line

    Highly efficient hydrostatic drive line

The hydrostatic drive line is a key factor in the performance of the D61EXi/PXi-23 dozer. It supplies high drawbar pull when needed and a highly fuel efficient drive line for grading and precision work. With a choice between two operating modes, the operator can select either “quick-shift” or “variable speed” to match a complete range of applications in the most economic and easy way.

    Unrivaled blade visibility

    Unrivaled blade visibility

The D61EXi/PXi-23 incorporates Komatsu's super-slant nose design. Komatsu's innovative design provides excellent blade visibility for improved machine control and increased efficiency and productivity.

    Comfortable working space

    Comfortable working space

The D61EXi/PXi-23's cab mount uses a cab damper system and provides shock and vibration absorption conventional mounting systems cannot match. The Silicon-oil-filled cab damper mount helps to isolate the cab from the machine body, suppressing vibration and providing a quiet, comfortable operating environment.

Tier 4 Engine KDPF Regeneration video

As the technology of diesel engines has progressed from Tier 3 to Tier 4 Final, design aspects of the engines have been fine-tuned to comply with regulations to cover regulated diesel engine exhaust pollutants.

The result is that these new diesel engines are cleaner than ever before, and in many cases more fuel efficient too. Along with this comes the need to properly manage and maintain these new generation of machines to make sure that operating costs are minimised.
