(Representative Director and President: Seiki Miyamoto) have jointly won a lump sum order for 153 units of construction equipment from a contractor of Gazprom of Russia for construction of a new pipeline for natural gas. Komatsu will start shipping the equipment in May this year and plans to complete delivery by the end of the year. The order consists of 100 units of the D355C large pipelayer, 45 units of the PC400 medium-sized hydraulic excavator, and 8 units of the D375A large bulldozer.
In Russia, Gazprom, the world's largest producer and supplier of natural gas, has decided to explore three reserves in Yamal Peninsula. All our machines will be deployed for the construction of a new pipeline (approx. 1,200km long) as part of the Yamal-Europe pipeline.
