Komatsu Provides Assistance for People Affected by Earthquake in Central Java, Indonesia

We hereby extend our sincere condolences to the people suffering from the powerful earthquake which occurred on May 27.
The Komatsu Group, under the leadership of Indonesian subsidiaries and distributor PT United Tractors, has begun assistance activities, including materials assistance.
United Tractors is going to lend five cars and one ambulance with drivers to private-sector assistance groups. Komatsu Ltd. is going to donate 10 million yen through the Japan Red Cross and other support organizations.

As we monitor the local conditions, the Komatsu Group is going to prove swift and appropriate assistance to the reconstruction and recovery efforts for the affected areas.
